Hi I'm Sophie

My fitness journey started as most people's would, I found myself to be very overweight, living an unhealthy lifestyle and I had no energy. The scary part was that I wasn't aware of how bad things were getting until I started a very active job and saw some photos from a holiday. This triggered the need to change my lifestyle. I joined the gym and quickly realised I had no idea what to do and was so self conscious thinking everyone was looking and laughing at me. However, I persevered and did a little research in to what to do but found that there was a lot of conflicting information. In the end I just went with what I thought I'd enjoy - weight training! Wow what had I been missing? Not only was it more interesting than doing cardio on a machine but I dropped 3 dress sizes in the process. I built up strength and lost fat but then everything started to plateau so the next stage for me was personal training. I hired a PT and lost another 2 dress sizes. Yes I could have hired a PT straight away and that would have got me my results a lot quicker but the research, training techniques, nutrition information that I looked up and tested on myself on my journey made me a better Personal Trainer. I've been there, I know how hard it is to lose weight and to make those lifestyle changes in order to be happy. Are you ready to make that lifestyle change?

I have been helping women of all ages learn how to weight train effectively and to build there confidence in the gym, I work with a lot of clients that have chronic conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes and help them to improve their lifestyle and their conditions.
